最近非常に気になるバンド、Beabadoobee。
ちょっと調べたらフィリピン人だった。中国系イギリス人だと勝手に思っていた。
それを考えるとおもしろい。フィリピン人とはなんとなくかっこいいではないか。
中国人がかっこよくないと言いたいのではなくて、人口も多いのでマイノリティーさがないため。
この前紹介した曲とは別に

この曲はもっと情緒がある。

Yes you do. は十代とか若い子がよく使う言葉。
日本語的な感覚では、若い世代の言葉遣いをゆったりしたメロディーにうまく乗せている、何とも言えない表現。
これがすごくPopな感じで、ダンスミュージックな感じだったら、まんまでつまらないけど。
ロックでノスタルジックな音なのがまたよろしい。
どこかで聴いたような、聴いたような．．．と思って思い出したら
Madder Roseのこの曲に少し似てる。
